Ain Shams University (ASU) is the 3rd earliest national university in Egypt. It's founded in 1950 with 15 faculties and 2 two high institutes. It provides education at both the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. It serves 170,000 undergraduates via 8,800 staff members in different sciences. It includes more than 100 centres and special units. ASU staff members have received national and international grants exceeding 450 million EGP over the past 8 years, including centres for national research development.

Role in the project:

ASU will take part in:

  • Assessment study on HiT curricula requirements;
  • Sharing and consolidation of course contents;
  • Review of the teaching material prepared by EU universities;
  • Accreditation of HiT Master course;
  • Selection of teachers which will be trained in workshops and webinars;
  • Participation to workshops and webinars;
  • Interview and selection of master students;
  • Master course implementation;
  • Supervision of students internship and selection of 3 students which will make internships in the EU labs;
